Chili cookoff 2026!

A couple years ago, Tina and I decided to stop catering member meals and start cooking them ourselves. We love the process of thinking about what would speak comfort and joy to the people in our space - what would make their lives easier? Take something off their plate? Care for their health and well-being? Bring them joy in the midst of their work day? Today we hosted one of our favorite events — our annual chili cook-off! What a gift to see so many in our community showcase their talents, giving us the opportunity to share a meal that we’ve prepared for each other and to learn something about the people that we work alongside. Making a meal for someone else is always a little vulnerable, but I want every opportunity I can get to sit across from someone and hear a little of their story as we eat together. And wow, our people can cook! Thanks Switchboard for a great meal!
