WHAT DOES A MEMBERSHIP AT SWITCHBOARD INCLUDE?

SUPER-FAST, RELIABLE INTERNET

Private offices have hard-wired Ethernet connections, as well as access to WiFi. All members receive a private secure wifi login. Your guests can access wifi through the Switchboard-Guest network.

CONFERENCE ROOM TIME

All plans include a monthly credit allocation that can be used to reserve both conference and meeting rooms. Reservations can be made online.

SWITCHBOARD MEMBER NETWORK

Connect with other Switchboard members through our online community. You can ask questions, share stories, announce product launches and other good news, invite others to events, promote your job listings, or simply find someone to grab coffee with. 

PRINTING/COPYING/SCANNING

The Switchboard has a multi-function copier/scanner/printer located in the supply room behind the registration desk. We’ll help you add the wifi printer when we set you up.

DO ALL MEMBERSHIPS BEGIN ON THE 1ST OF THE MONTH?

Membership plans begin the day you sign up (your first month is prorated if you join mid month) and are billed monthly. Our one-calendar month move-out policy requires move out on the last day of the month for Private Offices and Dedicated Desks, allowing new members to move in on the 1st of the month.

ARE YOUR MEMBERSHIPS REALLY MONTH-TO-MONTH?

WHAT IF I'M LOOKING FOR A PRIVATE OFFICE OR DEDICATED DESK MORE THAN 30 DAYS IN THE FUTURE?

WHAT ARE YOUR BUILDING HOURS? WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?

Switchboard staff will generally be on site between 9 AM – 5 PM local time Monday through Friday. All members have 24/7 access to the building via their Smartphone.

CAN I STOP IN OR SHOULD I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A TOUR?

Please schedule tours in advance. This ensures our availability and helps our team focus on helping you choose the best space. You can book a tour here.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING MY DOG? WHAT'S YOUR PET POLICY?

While we love our pets, pets in the building can make work difficult for other guests with allergies or other issues with animals. If you use a service animal, please contact the director for accommodation. 

WHAT IS THE AVERAGE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF AN OFFICE?

Switchboard has small offices (70 square feet) that could accommodate one or two desks, as well as larger offices (200 square feet) that can accommodate a small team. Please schedule a tour to come see for yourself.

CAN I ADD MAIL AND PACKAGE HANDLING?

We offer mail and package handling at the Switchboard. A limited number of private mailboxes are available on a first come-first served basis.

HOW DO RESERVATION CREDITS WORK?

Coworking Membership, Dedicated Desk and Private Office plans all include a monthly reservation credit allocation that can be used to reserve conference rooms and meeting spaces. After you have used your monthly conference room and meeting space credits, you are free to make additional reservations on an hourly basis at a 50% discount. Credits do not rollover from month to month.

HOW DO I RESERVE A CONFERENCE ROOM OR A MEETING SPACE?

You can make a reservation for a conference room or a workspace on our member app. Select available rooms, dates and length of the reservation. For all reservations, we have a first-come, first-served policy and recommend making a reservation as early as possible to guarantee availability.

WHAT SIZE CONFERENCE ROOMS DO YOU HAVE?

We have 2 conference rooms, each seating 6-12 people. 

WHAT IS THE COWORKING SPACE?

The coworking space is a shared common room in the heart of our building. You’ll have ample space to set up your laptop for the day, a power port and WiFi. In addition, you have access to all of the other building amenities.

I HAVE A MEMBERSHIP PLAN. CAN I BOOK A CONFERENCE ROOM/WORKSPACE ON THE WEEKEND?

You can! All of our spaces are available to members 24/7.

CAN GUESTS VISIT ME IN MY PRIVATE OFFICE?

Absolutely!

I'M READY TO SIGN UP! WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS?

All memberships may be paid for online via EFT or credit card

IS THERE A SECURITY DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO SECURE A DEDICATED DESK OR PRIVATE OFFICE?

Switchboard requires a security deposit equal to one months’ rent for private offices. There is no deposit required for dedicated desks or coworking members.

WHEN DO I HAVE TO LET SWITCHBOARD KNOW I'M MOVING OUT?

Members with Dedicated Desks or Private Offices are required to give one calendar month notice to move out or transfer offices. Move out forms must be submitted by the last business day of the month prior to vacating. Example: If a member wants to move out on August 31st, they must give notice to Switchboard on July 31st.

Coworking Memberships can be cancelled online at any time. There are no prorated refunds issued for cancellations.

DOES SWITCHBOARD CHARGE LATE FEES?

Switchboard charges a late fee of 10% of the outstanding invoice for payments we haven't received by the 5th business day of the month and 3.5% for each additional day that payment is late.

WHAT ARE THE ADDITIONAL FEES FOR RESERVATION CREDITS, PRINTING, ETC.?

  • Conference or Meeting Room: $25.00 - $50.00/hour

  • Printing is currently free for members. Please help us to conserve paper and ink so we can continue to offer this service.
